This post is all about 10 stress free home organisation Hacks.
Why do we need organisation for the home or any other spaces?
Organising our living and working spaces is paramount to ensuring a smooth flow of operations. Whether you’re a stay at home mom or an executive working late into the nights, adding structure to your environment is important for success.
It’s extremely counter productive to work in a messy and cluttered space. A clean space is an efficient and healthy space.
Here is a list of 10 stress free home organisation Hacks that will keep both regular and home office spaces sorted on a budget.

1. Hanging Clip Boards:
This is a great option for your home office and home in general. These clipboards can be used to organise your to do lists, important reminders, and mails and a lot more. I use them for meal planning and the children’s chore charts. Add a magnetic strip to the back of the clipboard and you can stick it on the fridge for freezer inventories, schedules and reminders.
2. Activity Section on Refrigerator:
Continuing from the first point, the refrigerator is in clear reach for everyone in the home. It’s one of the most used appliances and spaces. Using a refrigerator to pin reminders and back to school agenda keeps important information in clean view. This makes it really hard to miss deadlines and things you need to get done.
3. Label bread bag clips to cords:
This hack is beyond genius! It’s a great way to use those clips. Simply wrap a clip around a cable to keep it from being an untidy tangled mess. This creates an easy way for quick memory without rummaging around to search for a specific cord. Plus, it’s a good way to up-cycle seemingly unimportant bits.

4. Create a roll hanger for trash bags:
This is a very neat home organisation hack. I have one installed in my kitchen for the paper towels. You can use it for storing trash bags and cloth towels as well. Not only does this save space, it’s also renter friendly.
5. Hang all Spray Cleaners on a tension shower rod:
Home organisation hacks make life simpler and more organised. Hanging spray cleaners will provide more space for other cleaning agents under the sink. This creates less clutter on the floor of the cabinet, plus makes finding the various cleaners accessible and easy.
6. Make pan racks out of office organisers:
This is the ultimate space saver for your pots and pans. Using office organisers for pan racks will definitely be easier on the wallet. Finding alternative uses for everyday items is a creative way of solving organisational issues. Not only does this make more space in the cupboard, but it also protects the pots from scratches. Simple card stock paper and file organisers is also a clever option.

7. Hanging plastic bins for shower toys:
Young ones love to play in the bath and splash about. Bath toys have a habit of multiplying by the dozen. Demonstrating order by organising their toys in the tub is a good lesson and is also easier for the parent to clean up after each bath time.
8. Transform an old book case:
Turning an old book case into clothes storage is yet another budget friendly hack. When our kids were small, we would use Ikea Billy bookshelves and the Kallax shelves to store their clothes and toys. This not only saves floor space by reducing furniture pieces but also helps keep the costs down. There are plenty of baskets and other cube inserts from Ikea to sort and organise the various sections. Another tip is to try your local thrift shop or Ebay for the inserts.

9. Engage your children by implementing a chore chart:
Chore charts tend to motivate children to do their tasks because it’s more fun. I use colourful printouts to motivate my kids and teach them responsibility. Each child has their own chart. At the end of the week, they get an agreed upon reward. This also reduces the mental load on the parents and makes cleaning up a joint effort.
10. Use a top drawer set for medicine cabinet:
It’s good to have all medication items in one place so you can rush to it in times of emergency. Since our home is small, we have had to come up with creative use of spaces. Like this plastic drawer on wheels. Two drawers are allocated for medicines and the rest for other items. Not everyone has the space or the budget to allocate a furniture piece for a specific function. Sometimes, you have to find a way to balance various things within one system.
