- Although, Axolotls are salamanders and not fish, some people refer to them as Mexican walking fish.

How to Download the Colouring Pages
Choose the axolotl picture that you would like to print. Next, select the download button underneath the image.
Open the downloaded file and print it on A4 paper. Standard printer paper works well. However, slightly thicker paper may be better for felt-tip pens or paint.
Always check your printer settings before printing. Select ‘fit to page’ if part of the design is missing.

Creative Ways to Use These Printables
These pages can become more than a simple colouring activity.
For example, children could cut out their finished axolotls and use them in a scrapbook. They could also create an underwater picture with plants, bubbles and colourful fish.
Another idea is to combine several completed pages into a homemade colouring book. Add a simple cover, staple the pages together and let your child choose a title.
Finally, laminated pages can be used again with suitable washable or dry-wipe pens.
