Here are some fun facts about Capybaras that you can share with your kids!

1. Firstly, Capybaras are the world’s largest rodents. They are related to guinea pigs but can weigh more than 60 kilograms.
2. Secondly, they are excellent swimmers. Their partly webbed feet help them paddle through rivers, ponds and wetlands.
3. Additionally, Capybaras can stay underwater for up to five minutes. They sometimes hide beneath the surface when they feel threatened. 
4. Fourthly, they enjoy living in groups. Capybaras often stay together in groups of around 10 to 20 animals. 
5. Finally, their teeth never stop growing. Chewing grass and other tough plants helps wear their teeth down.

Open the downloaded file and print it on A4 paper. Standard printer paper works well with crayons and colouring pencils.

However, slightly thicker paper may be better for felt-tip pens or paint. Before printing, check that your printer is set to the correct paper size. Select ‘fit to page’ if part of the design is missing.
