Corgis are easy to recognise because of their short legs, large ears and friendly faces. Therefore, they make especially cute characters for colouring activities.
Moreover, children can choose traditional shades of red, brown, black, cream and white. Alternatively, they could create pink, blue, purple or rainbow-coloured corgis.

Here are some fun facts about Corgis that you can share with your kids!
- Firstly, there are two kinds of corgi. They are called the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. They are separate dog breeds.
- Secondly, Corgis were originally farm dogs. Welsh farmers used them to move cattle and guard farmyards, despite their small size.
- Additionally, their short legs do not slow them down. Corgis are energetic dogs that can enjoy herding, agility and other dog sports.
- Fourthly, the two breeds have different tails. Cardigan corgis have long, fox-like tails, while Pembrokes are commonly known for their much shorter tails.
- Finally, Welsh legends call them fairy dogs. According to an old story, fairies used corgis to pull tiny coaches and carry fairy warriors.
How to Download the Corgi Colouring Pages
Firstly, choose the corgi picture that you would like to colour. Next, select the download button beneath the image.
Open the downloaded file and print it on A4 paper. Standard printer paper works well with crayons and colouring pencils.
However, slightly thicker paper may be better for felt-tip pens or paint. Before printing, check that your printer is set to the correct paper size. Select ‘fit to page’ if part of the design is missing.
Creative Ways to Use These Corgi Printables
These free pages can become part of several fun corgi activities.
For example, children could cut out their finished corgis and place them on a homemade park background. They could then add trees, flowers, clouds, toys and tiny dog treats.
Alternatively, children could give each corgi a name. Afterwards, encourage them to invent a short story about the dog’s adventures.
Another idea is to turn the pages into a colouring book. Simply print several designs, add a cover and staple the pages together.
Finally, you can laminate a favourite picture. As a result, your child can colour it again with suitable washable or dry-wipe pens.
