Here are some fun facts about pandas that you can share with your kids!
- Firstly, giant pandas are bears. Despite their unusual black-and-white fur, they belong to the bear family.
- Secondly, they spend much of the day eating. A giant panda may munch on bamboo for 10 to 14 hours every day.
- Additionally, Pandas have a special thumb. It is actually an enlarged wrist bone that helps them grip bamboo stems.
- Fourthly, newborn panda cubs are tiny and pink. They are born without fur and cannot see at first.
- Finally, young pandas stay with their mothers for a long time. Some cubs remain with their mothers for up to three years before living on their own.
How to Download the Panda Colouring Pages
Firstly, choose the panda picture that you would like to colour. Next, select the download button beneath the image.
Open the downloaded file and print it on A4 paper. Standard printer paper works well with crayons and colouring pencils.
However, slightly thicker paper may be better for felt-tip pens or paint. Before printing, check that your printer uses the correct paper size. Select ‘fit to page’ if part of the design is missing.
Creative Ways to Use These Panda Printables
